-camp this week is alright. i feel so old and somehow i'm considered one of the old counselors even though i'm the same age or younger than a bunch of others. unfortunately... i lost my voice by 4 today and its only monday.
-after work started hitting with adam blake (camper) and then was joined by katy and jake and tonya and eventually jamey and some boy. adam left and we played killer like killer has never been played.

- acapulco's walk for haiti/not really meeting was a total fiasco. long story short... no one called me and alice to tell us it was rescheduled...to tomorrow. ended up being good to see alice for the first time since she went to summer school... and somehow we ended up at julie's with kelly and candice.

-afterwards - because i was not about to let dear alice get raped abducted etc... i drove her back to harvard instead of just to alewife. from there... things went downhill. just as my midnight curfew was broken... it broke into torrential downpour. i could not see a thing, except when the lightning seemed to be striking the road in front of me. now instead of being a couple minutes late it was more like over a half hour. i was slightly lost, in the pouring rain, with lots of thunder and then the roads started flooding, and then my window defroster wasn't working so the whole thing fogged up so bad that i had to keep wiping it with my hand. it was the biggest adrenaline rush ever, but also scared the crap out of me. it was the scariest conditions i have ever been in a car during, whether i was driving or not.
